Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your first visit.
What is Kampala Mobile Physicians?
Kampala Mobile Physicians is a mobile medical practice that brings professional physician care directly to your home, office or phone. We are a subsidiary of Mobimed Specialists, offering consultations, home specialist care, health screening, laboratory investigations, physiotherapy and 24/7 ambulance services across the Kampala-metropolitan zone.
Who will attend to me?
You are cared for by Dr. Senfuka Peter, Lead Physician and Founder — a Makerere University Medical School graduate with over 15 years of experience in internal medicine, general practice and laboratory medicine. He is registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) and the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).
Which areas do you cover?
Home and office visits cover the entire Kampala-metropolitan zone, including Entebbe where we maintain a second base. Telemedicine consultations are available anywhere in Uganda with network coverage.

Can laboratory tests be done at home?
Yes. Samples are collected in the comfort of your home and analysed through accredited partner laboratories. Results are reviewed with you promptly by the physician, with a clear plan for anything abnormal.
Do you provide medical reports and certificates?
Yes — consultation summaries, travel medical clearance, pre-employment fitness reports, school and insurance documentation. Reports are signed by a UMDPC/AHPC registered physician and typically issued within 24–48 hours.
Can you help manage diabetes and hypertension?
Absolutely — structured chronic disease management is one of our core services, combining scheduled reviews (at home, office or virtual), home monitoring, medication management, lab tracking and family nutrition coaching.
Is telemedicine available outside Kampala?
Yes. Telemedicine works wherever you have a phone signal — upcountry, at work, or abroad while caring for family in Uganda. Video calls run on WhatsApp or Zoom; ordinary phone calls work too.
